Credentials: B.A. Business Management and Political Science (Gustavus Adolphus College, Minnesota); LL.M. Taxation (New York University School of Law); J.D. (University of North Dakota School of Law); more than 20 years of executive experience leading organizations committed to entrepreneurial efforts that positively impact people worldwide, including the Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI) based in Seattle, Washington, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Global Health Program.
Responsibilities: Provides vision and overall leadership for WARF. Ensures that the strategic directives of WARF’s board are implemented. Oversees the efficient performance of technology transfer operations and the investment portfolio. Effectively communicates WARF’s mission internally by aligning and energizing employees around the mission and externally by engaging and influencing stakeholders.
