TRICKS (time-resolved imaging of contrast kinetics) is a three-dimensional imaging technique that takes the guess work out of contrast-enhanced MRI procedures. The technology was developed by esteemed medical physics professor Charles Mistretta, and entered the marketplace in 2003. Compared to the older X-ray method, TRICKS provides exceptional visualization and a 400 percent increase in speed – helping doctors make better decisions for their patients.
