MADISON – With more than $100 million of federal grants funding cleantech research on the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus, many new technologies are being created that will have a significant impact on the cleantech economy. Some of these cleantech innovations and startups will be featured at the July 24 meeting of the Wisconsin Cleantech Network forum.

The forum will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Discovery Building, 330 Orchard Street, on the University of Wisconsin campus. Follow this link to a map of available parking. Cost is $10 per person in advance and $20 at the door, including refreshments and snacks.

Presenters at the event will include Francisco Moya of Pathogenomica, Mehrdad Arjmand and Aaron Olson of NovoMoto and Professor Kyoung-Shin Choi of the UW–Madison chemistry department.

The Cleantech Network forums focus on the needs and challenges faced by entrepreneurs and others working in Wisconsin’s clean technology sectors. That includes power systems, controls, alternative fuels and more. Each program will include a presentation, audience Q&A and networking.

The forums are produced by WARF in cooperation with the Wisconsin Technology Council and Kremer Ventures.
