Research area Advancing pluripotent stem cell technologies for the development of novel sources of hematopoietic stem cells and mature blood cells for transplantation, transfusion and cancer immunotherapy.

What excites you about your work? 

“The opportunity to develop new stem cell therapies that could improve human health.”

What do you hope to achieve? 

“I envision that my research will be eventually translated into the clinic. I hope that we can initiate clinical trials with the stem cell-based immunotherapy technologies recently developed in my lab.

Igor’s work is clinically focused and follows standard industry development pathways. WARF is pleased to represent his innovations.
