Join us for our LinkedIn Live AI Ask Me Anything (AMA) featuring Nicholas Kelley – Director of Data Science & AI at Novartis!

In this AMA, Nick will provide his expert knowledge and share his experiences from the AI field by responding to your questions as they come. He’s ready to discuss everything from the latest advancements to practical uses of AI, and we encourage all types of questions!

This second installment of the AI AMA is presented by WARF, UW-Madison CDIS, UW-Madison DSI and the AI Agent Innovation Group. The LinkedIn Live event will field questions through the Q&A comment section.

Nick is an innovator and enabler/connector at the interface of AI, transformation, and investment in drug discovery and development. More specifically, this means identifying winning ideas and moving them forward. Polishing value propositions through the lens of pharma. Enabling talented teams and individuals to be successful. And facilitating critical connections in the pharma-biotech/start-up/investor ecosystem, where he has recently joined Alpha Intelligence Capital as their newest Venture Advisor. As Director AI Portfolio Strategy and Innovation at Novartis, Nick has been responsible for assembling the enterprise-wide AI opportunity landscape, co-defining the AI strategy with respective divisions, and launching key use cases and programs with strategic partners, coalition of internal stakeholders, and capability builds. His formal background is in computational methodology and machine learning in life science and health, with his Ph.D. in Biophysics from Stanford University, postdoctoral research as part of the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics, and he is currently completing his Board Director Diploma at the IMD Business School in Lausanne.
