Meet a team from the University of Wisconsin-Madison advancing a new imaging system to detect explosives and other dangerous materials in public spaces. Prof. Jiamian Hu, Shihao Zhuang and their team have developed an improved narrowband terahertz emitter with the potential to safely – and non-intrusively – detect hazards in places like subway stations and stadiums.
