Position: Director of Strategic Communications
Credentials: M.S. Consumer Science (UW–Madison); B.S. Business and Economics (UW-Platteville); designation as a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE); 30 years of health care, higher education, community outreach and media experience.
Responsibilities: Leads the strategic development and implementation of communications, marketing and brand initiatives to support WARF’s purpose, goals and long-term objectives; proactively promotes the organization’s purpose of helping steward the cycle of research, discovery, commercialization and investment for the University of Wisconsin; oversees the design, creation and production of internal and external marketing materials such as websites, publications, event promotions, presentations, blogs and social media, ensuring a unified brand and visual identity across all channels.
