Hear from social entrepreneurs May 12

MADISON, Wis. – How can social enterprises survive and increase their impact during the pandemic? Join past Force for Positive Change winners, Wisconsin-based social impact investors and experts on Tuesday, May 12, at 4 p.m. for a virtual discussion moderated by Kelsey Otero of Marquette University.

Leaders of social enterprises from different corners of Wisconsin, as well as experts from academia and the investment community, will share how they are exploring opportunities to develop new revenue streams, address shifting customer bases and needs and communicate with stakeholders during this unique challenge.

“Social entrepreneurs are accustomed to managing challenging situations and adjusting to meet shifting pressures,” says Otero. “In addition to dealing with the financial uncertainties of the present moment, these award-winning entrepreneurs often work with and serve people in the most vulnerable situations. They have gained insights that can benefit anyone trying to keep moving forward through the current crisis.”
