MADISON, Wis. – The Discovery Building on the UW–Madison campus invites kids, families and learners of all ages to experience what life is like with robots.

“Life with Robots” will be held Saturday, December 2, at the Discovery Building from 10 a.m. to noon. The event is free and open to the public.

Through a variety of hands-on exploration stations, participants will be able to compare robot movement with the body’s movement, solve programming challenges and learn to program robots that are used to grow plants.

The event is part of Saturday Science, an ongoing program that helps community members connect with science in a casual atmosphere. The program typically is held on the first Saturday of each month at the Discovery Building, 330 N. Orchard St., Madison. For more information, visit https://discovery.wisc.edu/programs/saturday-science.

The next event will be on January 6 from 10 a.m. to noon and will celebrate Wisconsin’s legendary naturalist, Aldo Leopold.
