WARF TECHNOLOGIES

UW Madison researchers have devised a simplified super-resolution microscope with resolving features smaller than the diffraction limits of the optical system. The new super-resolution microscope exploits the properties of common optical diffraction patterns to eliminate the vortex plate and, in some cases, allows super-resolution imaging with standard confocal microscope optics.
