The Invention
UW-Madison researchers, in collaboration with researchers from University of Illinois Chicago, have developed a de novo peptide design strategy that combines organic synthesis, phage display, and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to identify therapeutically optimal peptides. The initial results of their collaboration identified several peptides that could target and bind multiple immune checkpoint receptors on T cells.
