The Invention

A UW-Madison researcher developed an E. coli strain for expressing the nucleic acid plasmid that serves as the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) for GMP production of a prostate cancer vaccine. This strain is used to create clinical material for the clinical trials undergoing at UW-Madison.
