Cynomolgus Macaque Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell (iPSC) Line: Line CY1038
WARF: P260416US01
Inventors: John Maufort
The Invention
A UW-Madison researcher has developed an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line, called cy1038, from fibroblast cells from a male Cynomolgus Macaque that has a heterozygous MHC haplotype (M2/M4). The cy1038 cell line has been characterized regarding pluripotent gene expression, morphology, karyotyping, and teratoma formation.
